Our passionate team members develop through on-the-job training, ongoing education on pet products and pet care, leadership training and growth opportunities.

Programs and Benefits

Program and benefit eligibility will vary based on position, average hours worked, and length of service. 

Team members are eligible for a variety of medical, dental, and vision plans. 

Team members are eligible for an HSA and FSA plans. 

Employer paid life insurance policy of $25,000.

Employer paid short-term and long-term disability insurance options. 

Voluntary pet insurance options to help offset rising veterinary costs and protect our four-legged family members. 

Team members accrue 2 weeks of paid time off within their first year, 3 weeks within their second year, and 4 weeks after their sixth year. 

Team members are eligible for 4 or 12 weeks of paid parental leave following the birth of a child or the placement of a child with a team member in connection with adoption. 

Team members are eligible for 2 days of paid time off for pet adoption bonding time. 

Team members are eligible to join a 401K program. 

Employer paid Employee Assistance Program that is available 24/7, 7 days a week, and includes a variety of services such as 5 free confidential counseling visits per incident per year, work-life solutions, legal support, financial information support, and self-care tools.

Team members receive 25% off products and services. 

Team members are eligible for our Store Bonus Incentive program which rewards individuals for meeting store goals.

Team members in store management have unique opportunities with our Store Manager in Training program to learn core business operations while increasing leadership skills through coaching, development and mentor programs.

Team members in our salons have unique opportunities with our Groomer Apprenticeship program to become certified through Paragon and learn best practices from our experienced groomers, pet handling, safety, and how to authentically connect with Pet Parents.
